Look Ma - No Wires on my Home Alarm Security System!

In the past 15 years more and more consumer products have gone wireless. Wireless technology reliability has increased and become much more popular for various reasons; mainly because going wireless is simple, not having to deal with wires that can be a hassle to run through the walls or make the house look cluttered. The same can now be said about wireless home security.Wireless home security systems are made for people who want a do-it-yourself system and do not want to fuss with all of the wires. Wireless detection units can range up to 1200 square feet, and can communicate up to 150 feet away from a base unit, even through walls. The wireless detection units work by using a wireless Radio Frequency (RF) which corresponds with the main master alarm unit. When the wireless unit is disturbed, it transmits a signal to the master unit which then sounds the alarm notifying everyone in the vicinity that there is an intruder.
